“Verily never will Allah change the condition of a people until they change it themselves.” (Quran 13: 11)

Egyptians were moved to make change and Allah took the reigns-- and now change has happened.
I'm reading a book right now about violence and oppression and what underpins it-- and the author posits that the worst oppressors, the worst abusers, are those who cannot change. They cannot adapt to the needs of a changing life.  He quotes Buddhist scholars that say that the resistance to change is the cause of all suffering.

The Qur'an says that we MUST move toward change. We must move forward and then, after even the most minuscule step is made? The change will come.

Alhamdulliah!
Allahu Akbar!

Mubarak resisted change (and I sort of wonder if he was "removed" from power-- like, the Army was all "hey guys! No worries!" and had reached an accord with Mubarak and then he went on TV and was stubborn and they were like "Mannnn, now we have to kill you) and it caused much suffering, but the people-- the students and youth of Egypt, they embraced it and Allah finished the rest.

Allahu Akbar!! You guys! Allahu Akbar!
