Question: What to do when different scholars give differing advice? Answer: We should listen to their advice--and anyone else's--and then ask oneself, sincerely: "What course of action is most pleasing to Allah?" or "What course of action is most in line with the example of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)?" or "What is the best and most beneficial course of action, for my dunya and deen?"
